Energy Sales Executive:

Multilple Regions in Southern California and Arizona

Solar Systems Sales, Regional Representative - Fantastic opportunity to work with a great, experienced team in a booming but highly competitive business. Regional Representative opportunities exist in the following Southern California areas and their vicinity: Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, IInland Empire and all parts of San Bernardino County, Antelope Valley, San Gabriel Valley, San Fernando Valley, Orange County and Riverside County.  Also interested in hearing from qualified candidates from central or southern Arizona.

Our model is direct residential and commercial sales with an emphasis on community-oriented selling. We are looking for people who are active in their community, are confident, proven in sales, and want to be involved in the renewable energy business. We have a well developed custom intranet which allows our reps to be productive while on outside sales, having everything at their fingertips.

Here is the profile of a successful PHAT Energy candidate:
- Driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic;
- Comfortable and successful in the sales process;
- Excellent networker, effective communicator;
- Very strong work ethic;
- Able to use all leading PC programs including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work events and sales calls on weekends and evenings.
- Has no problem driving, climbing ladders, standing on a roof.
- Is specifically committed the renewable energy industry.

If you are selected to enter our one-week solar sales training, you receive no guarantee of being selected to join our sales team. Only the best candidates will be retained; the rest will have received free solar training at our expense.

ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT - You must have demonstrable ability and aptitude for direct sales, at the commercial and/or residential levels, Good solar industry background is obviously an obvious "plus", Must be physically able to get on a roof without concern.  You must be able to present well, write and communicate effectively, be comfortable using the Internet, have a professional phone presence, and be at ease in front of groups.  We sell energy, so we like people who are passionate and driven. You must not have a criminal record. A car in good condition is also a requirement, as well as ability and willingness to drive to appointments throughout your eventual region.  If you have no prior solar system sales experience, the Solar Power Sales class is a requirement; see here for details.

Intern - Web Marketing and Media Relations

If you are a good writer, understand or are interested in learning web-marketing, and like to communicate with the press, we have an internship position open.  Part time OK.  No initial compensation, but position can definitely grow into a paid full-time position.  Knowledge of Photoshop or other image manipulation programs is a plus, as is a real personal interest in the renewable energy business.
