Administration Assistant (2 positions available)


We have an immediate need for TWO outstanding persons with naturally strong administrative skills, organizational skills, and work ethic.

If you're the sort that hangs their clothes by color scheme and fabric types, and has all of their personal files neatly arranged alphabetically and regularly cleaned out; if you are the family organizer dynamo that arranges all of the gatherings, if you never miss an oil change on your car and all of your friends wonder how you get so much done, you're got the basic character traits we are looking for.

We have one position available on the operational side, and one on the general admin side, but both require the same professional and personal skill sets.  In combination, these positions involve mastering the following tasks, and more, thus you must have proven and verifiable abilities and experience in their associated skills:
- Inputting accounts data into QuickBooks;
- Communicating daily with customers via telephone and email regarding scheduling,  coordinating and debriefing installation-related matters;
- Conducting and maintaining inventories of parts;
- Organizing and maintaining company manuals;
- Filing and tracking complex and highly precise rebate documents with multiple utilities;
- Working with MS Excel to produce charts, graphs, lists and other documents;
- Be able to research issues, services and products, and assemble a report based on findings.

Preferred industry backgrounds for candidates include renewable energy, construction, or mortgage finance administration. Associates degree is a minimum educational requirement.

Outbound Appointment Setter
 

Part-time or Full-time Entry Level Position

Promote solar and set appointments.  PHAT Energy is looking for driven, personable and self-assured marketers to canvas local neighborhoods and work community events. The job is talking to people about solar energy and scheduling free solar consultations. Shifts are 5 hours. You will be required to work a minimum of one shift per week and will be allowed to work as many shifts as you would like so long as you produce results. You will work alongside the sales team to identify the geographic areas and events that you want to work. Basic training is provided.

Applicants must be extremely well spoken, hard working, outgoing, pleasant, neat, presentable and interested in the solar industry. Compensation is $50 per shift plus a bonus for each of your appointments held by Sales, and an additional bonus when a sale is made from your appointment. Hourly average is $13-16 and there is no cap on the amount of money that can be made. You must be able to set & confirm appointments to keep the job and the more of your appointments are held, the more money you make. The right candidate starts immediately, after a brief training process. 


This is a contract job.

 

Solar Sales Consultant - Residential/Small Commercial

Solar Systems Sales, Regional Representative - Fantastic opportunity to work with an experienced team in a blossoming but highly competitive business.  PHAT Energy is a specialist in renewable energy solutions for a rapidly changing world: solar electricity, electric vehicle charging, solar thermal, efficiency.  This is one of the fastest and most exciting sectors of our economy.

PHAT Energy's model is direct residential and commercial sales with an emphasis on community-oriented selling. So we are looking for people who are active in their community, but are not afraid to drive throughout their region.  Our candidates must be confident, proven in sales, and want to be involved in the renewable energy business. We have a well-developed custom intranet which allows our reps to be productive while in the field, their customer base at their fingertips.

Here is the profile of a successful PHAT Energy candidate:
- Driven and self-motivated;
- Comfortable and successful in the sales process;
- Excellent networker, effective communicator;
- Entrepreneurial with a very strong work ethic;
- Able to use all leading PC programs including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work events and sales calls on weekends and evenings.
- Has no problem driving, climbing ladders, standing on a roof.
- Is specifically committed the renewable energy industry.

Being part of the PHAT Energy sales team is FULL TIME and rewarding work, working with a great team. We only commit to supporting the most driven individuals. The successful candidate will start with one week of training.

ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT - You must have proven success in direct sales. A solar background is a huge advantage but not necessary. Sales pro's with successful backgrounds in major home improvement sales are highly likely to succeed, as are candidates who have successfully sold small and medium size commercial accounts in the past. You must be physically able to get on a roof without concern, have at least two years of college education. You must present well, write and communicate effectively, be adept at computer and web tools, on the phone, and in front of groups, be passionate and driven in this field. You must have no criminal record. A clean car in good condition is also a requirement, as well as ability and willingness to drive to appointments throughout the region.

Compensation:  Monthly expense stipend (car, phone, insurance, etc), generous commission package and success bonuses, annual paid vacation week.
